Molten Magic creates beautiful pictures using an
old wax art style.


From abstract art to beautiful scenery, all created at the work place and you can even be there to see the painting come alive.
Molten Magic uses low heat tools and coloured bee’s wax, allowing a lot of variety in the pictures. On the gallery page you will see some of the art that has been created, you can also buy a starter kit so you can start creating your own beautiful pictures.

Molten Magic was founded by Andrew Porter in 2014. After discovering encaustic art purely by chance and being amazed at the versatility of it, Andrew started playing around and discovered a new passion.

It was just a hobby at first but after a few months playing, his family and friends encouraged him to try selling his work.



Demonstrations are shown to people that are interested, and you can even get one to one lessons in using this art form!
Located on the Isle Of Wight, in a walk-in studio. You can come and see art being made. Details are on the contact page.


In May 2016 Andrew was invited to be part of a collective community, made up of Artists and Crafters at Island Artisan. (Now Island Originals)
 
He is now located in Shanklin (near the theatre) and able to demonstrate the incredible medium in-front of your eyes in his own little studio.
Able to work on bigger pieces since getting his own space, Andrew has been working on pieces up to A2 in size. Creating stunning nebula pictures.
